Blockchain drives an important and disruptive trend in many fields. Thanks to blockchain technologies, we see how various intermediaries decrease in number, systems are being decentralized and becoming more secure, lively and transparent. Blockchain offers flexibility and operational readiness. Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) frameworks have many similarities with the underlying principles of cooperatives and Social Economy. Join us to the extra workshop on 7 February to join the EU Blockchain experts.
Experts and representatives from Social Economy, EU institutions, companies will participate in this workshop, organised in the context of the EU Industry Days 2019. The workshop will present solutions based on Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) for social goals. The aim is not only to develop scalable, efficient and high-impact decentralised solutions to social innovation challenges but also to bring social economy enterprises and related stakeholders closer to blockchain technology as possible tools for their developments.
